Karndean for bedroom?

Does anyone have Karndean or similar in their bedroom? I need to replace the carpet asap.

I've investigated having floorboards sanded/stained/sealed but I've been warned I'd need to dismantle all of the furniture (small house, limited space!) and I can't face it.

I have solid oak from Wickes downstairs. I quite fancy a whitewashed look in the bedroom. It's currently being painted Dulux Denim Drift.

I've found a few old threads re. LVT - I hope I'm not being too repetitive Blush

I know a lot of people prefer carpet in bedrooms but I fancy a change. I live alone and wear slippers around the house so noise/coldness should be less of an issue. I have a wooden bedframe that doesn't move about or creak so I can rule that complaint out too!

I'd be putting a medium sized rug under the foot of the bed and may invest in a sheepskin too Grin

I've got Karndean in all the bedrooms, mine is the white painted oak, I'm really pleased with it and have it in the bathroom too.
I never did get around to getting a rug, I always wear slippers.

That sounds lovely! I have a mix of wood (oak/pale cherry) and white furniture and blinds. It's already looking so lush (the decorator's just finishing).

I'm quite new to flooring decisions and don't want to get it wrong! I can't believe how realistic looking Karndean/LVT has become Smile
