Sofa in the kitchen

We currently have a two seater leather sofa in the kitchen but it's knackered!

I hate leather sofas but would we be mad to get a cloth one?! Kids are still prone to spillages!!

I’m considering a cloth sofa for my kitchen. I think it’s OK as long as it isn’t on route from work surface to table. Better if it is tucked out of the way.

Spray with scotch guard obviously.

I think it's a little dangerous. OK if it's highly patterned so doesn't show the dirt.

We have a two seater Ektorp in our kitchen, have washed the covers quite a few times already, muddy dog! Spare ones are cheap. It's lovely
