We’ve got a dulux white cotton stair spindles and walls in hall and stair well with greige carpets on stairs.

I want to use polyx oil on bannisters and hall floor, both pine.
I’m not sure if I should go for a tinted oil, or stain the wood first? And which colour? I veer between thinking white stain would be good to going for something darker? Help! I can’t decide and need some ideas!

You know you can get Osmo in different colours so you don't need to stain then oil?

Hi Wow, yes thanks I did, I just want sure if the tinted ones were good or if anyone had better results using a stain and then just using clear polyx on top.
Also just wanted to hear opinions on if I should go darker on lighter. But thank you for taking pity on my thread and replying Grin
