Does such a thing exist?
Dm is moving in with us and we’re trying to redecorate her house to use as a holiday let to pay for her nursing care. The house itself is a gorgeous - Victorian, great views, close to the harbour in a holiday town so should (hopefully) get decent bookings.
The furniture however needs completely replacing. Everything that’s precious or sentimental we’ve put in storage but everything else is fairly old and grotty. So we’re trying to furnish it to a decent standard but getting pretty low on funds now.
The one thing I’m really stuck on is sofas for the sitting room. I think ideally it needs to be leather (or pleather? Shudder) or something with easily removable covers so they can be cleaned. Equally it needs to be not too expensive so if it does get trashed it can be replaced quickly.
Has anyone found a nice sofa that’s easily cleaned anywhere? I love some of the ones on Loaf and Made but I don’t want to spend lots of money just for them to get wrecked. IKEA and DFS only seem to have really shiny, dark leather ones which I don’t think would go well with the room itself.
