...to paint the walls, ceiling and skirting of one average sized double bedroom?

I'll be supplying the paint.

Could it be done in one day?

Someone recommended to me by more than one person is popping in tomorrow to appraise the job.

Thanking you in advance

Doubt it could be done well in a day. Sanding of woodwork, two coats of gloss and two emulsion doesn’t leave drying time.

I’d say £150 depends on where you live really.

We've just paid £350 a room. Included sanding down and light skimming, undercoat and two costs of Trade Dulux Timeless plus white ceiling and woodwork. Radiator was £50 extra.

Two days needed at least.

SE London! Might be cheaper outside of South East.

Two days. It's the prepping that takes the time. I'd say £300 is around what I'd be thinking.

Bluesheep8 · 20/06/2019 13:52

Yes I'd say at least 2 days to do a professional job op

Do most decorators quite a fixed price or per day?

didireallysaythat · 28/06/2019 22:27

I think that's two days which in my area is £300-400. Plus materials

2 days @ £200 a day . Our decorator supplies white emulsion for ceilings in his price . South East .
