Hi,
I'm awful at matching up colours Blush. In our bedroom, I'm looking for new blackout curtains so I can get some good sleep. We have 2 sets of dorma bedding which will last us a good few years: one is duck egg and the other is light grey. The wardrobes are white and there's nothing else colourful. What colour curtains would you get?

A cool toned neutral colour - stone/ecru/pale grey? That way it wont matter what colour bedding you have over the years.

@spanishwife thanks! I should have said the walls are a light cream colour.

As above or you could look for strong blues or citrus colours if you want to add colour

I have some curtains from John Lewis in a light blue/grey which I really like. Called barathea. They have a few natural tones which would probably work too.

I would go for a strong colour as the rest of the room is quite pale.

Blush/faded rose/'antiquey' plum...

What colour are the walls and carpet please? Tempted to suggest taupe in the first instance.
