Egyptian cotton walls and brilliant white ceiling?

Just that really. I've decided on Egyptian cotton walls for my bedroom but wonder if I should paint the ceiling brilliant white? And would you do the skirting board and doors in Egyptian cotton or white?
Any suggestions gratefully received,

I have Egyptian cotton on my walls. Ceiling in white (not brilliant white) skirting snd woodwork in white eggshell. I’ve never liked it when people paint skirting and coving in same colour as walls unless walls are white.

Thanks pip, can't decide on the skirting board colour - I'm not a very accurate painter and having them the same colour means any wobbly lines won't show as much!

Like Pip, Egyptian Cotton on the walls, ceiling, skirting and door frames are white.
Have moved into a house before where the skirting was the same colour as the walls and it didn't look great.

I have Egyptian Cotton with whit ceiling and skirtings too. I think it would look odd to have skirtings the same as the walls.

same here. just use masking tape? easy peasy and make painting quicker as you don't have to be so careful!
