Best folding mattress to use Every Night. Forever.

Two snuffley DS in on bedroom, snorting, farting, snoring, restless leg duvet flapper in the other. I got sick of crawling downstairs in the middle of the night to try to compress myself into a comfortable position on the sofa and hit on the genius idea of keeping a folding mattress in the bathroom. Smile Only it sucks. Sad It’s so thin my hip digs into the floor and I can manage about half an hour before having to roll over. Has anyone ever used a good one? This one is 3 60 x 60 cm squares that fold into a very flat cube, which are about the ideal dimensions for the space, but I will consider anything. Thanks

We're just giving this a bump for you, OP. Flowers

My sister has one of these:

62 cm wide and 193 cm long. You could also try a mattress topper on it as well.

I forgot to say that we have something like this for sleepovers.

It's 78 cm wide and 197 cm long. They are more comfortable (and easier to get up and down from!) than the folding mattress cubes. If you could find an appropriate space I would recommend one with the best mattress you can afford and/or a mattress topper. You can buy covers to disguise them if you have to store it in the open.

Thanks for your suggestions. I think I may have to try a mattress topper on top of what I have. Any longer than 180 and it won’t fit the space (did I mention we have a small house 🙂 ) and there is no space to store anything with a frame. This is why I have been struggling. Thank you

What about a camping mat, specifically a SIM. You can get different thicknesses and you just unroll it and it inflates itself. I have a 7.5cm thick one and it's as comfy as my bed at home, I always sleep really well on it.

Thanks NannyR, I’ll give that a go. (I’ve never slept well when camping though!)

We have this. It's not terribly small when folded (listing gives dimensions) but they do a thinner one too. It is foam and very comfortable. It's not cheap but if you're sleeping on it regularly, it's worth the cost!

Self inflating mats are good. They do take 5 minutes or so to inflate but they are slim so you may be able to keep it under a bed or sofa etc. Also, you are supposed to keep them unrolled to prolong the life of them.
