Hi!
I am in the process of buying a terraced house, typical front room set out as living room, then stairs and into a dining room with the stairs leading upstairs leading from it and small kitchen leading to small bathroom leading from it also.
I am trying to think of if there are any options as to making the flow of the house work a little better.
I would much prefer the kitchen to be next to the living room rather than dining room as I spend a lot of time cooking but worry that the living room having the stairs, living room and kitchen all leading from it would mean it wouldn't be very cosy.
I'm also worried that leaving the middle room as the dining room would mean that that space isn't used much. At my previous house the dining room never got used and I don't want to make the same mistake again!
Has anyone got any ideas and or experiences of living in a small terrace and how they used the rooms??
