Just that really - does anyone have any advice. Pros and cons? Can't make my mind up 🙈

Always vanity unit. So practical for storing all the stuff you need. I’d never have a traditional sink!

What about knocks and bumps and it getting wet? Got 2 little ones 🙈

I prefer the look of a pedestal sink but a vanity unit gives lots more storage.

How much other storage space do you have available in the bathroom? Do you have somewhere put down products etc if you don't have the counter provided by a vanity unit?

Defo a vanity unit for me - downstairs in stores the loo rolls and cleaning products and upstairs it stores all my spare toiletries and a box of medicines.

And as @PCohle says, what other room do you have to put stuff - on the top of our unit we have 4 toothbrushes, 4 toothpaste tubes (don't ask!!), mouthwash, my contact stuff and hand soap!

Vanity unit are superior. Think about storage at the planning stage and not just as an added extra.

Thanks for that @flirtygirl
