How do you decide which one, am looking at brilliant white?

Screwfix have an offer on Leyland Trade this weekend and it's only £10 for 5l which is really cheap and has good reviews.

my decorators swear by Johnstones trade

Dulux ok but expensive

Crown is crap (IMO and that of my decorator)

I really like leyland paint very good opacity

Dulux.

Leyland is like water to apply - according to our decorator!

I didn't particularly like Johnstone's trade, coverage was not that great. Get whatever's on offer if it's got good reviews I guess.

Just get the Leyland one if it's been recommended, is on special offer AND has great reviews.

It's brilliant white. The worst that'll happen is you'll have to do a third coat (if it's really thin).

Leyland looks slightly watery going on but dries really opaque, it’s very good paint for the money.

I've always used B & Q trade brilliant white, my first house was bright purple & Orange when I moved in & it only took two coats to completely cover it.

Thanks for the replies, going to see what is open today and what’s in stock where. Will definitely buy trade rather than diy

Don't go with Crown - it's rubbish. We had our hallway decorated with crown last year and the quality of paint has been shocking.
