Garden furniture

Looking for garden furniture and can't decide! Either wood or metal, not keen on the fake rattan stuff that seems to be everywhere.

It will have to stay outside with a cover as we don't have room to store.

Prefer round/ oval shaped and individual chairs for comfort.

My dad had a lovely mosaic table with matching chairs but I didn't think to ask him where it was from and he died last year

Really like this but overpriced IMO!

If you want 6 seats then the mosaic dining sets tend to be rectangular. 4 seats tend to be round.

The above are the same set but with a bigger, extendable table. We have a similar (but square) set. We've had it about 6 years. It stays outside from late spring to the end of the summer where it gets covered with garden furniture covers. At the end of the summer it is brought inside and stored in the garage. We give it a coat of teak oil every year and have had no problems with it. We purchased cushions to add to the chairs.

Costco is great for good quality garden furniture, and you pay less than RRP. Last year we bought the Sunvilla Beaumont set, 6 chairs, table, cover, for £749. Sun parasol was £130.

Aldi do good garden furniture too. Very good value. You can buy it online.

Habitat have some nice fibrestone furniture at the moment - very contemporary and extremely classy, plus no maintenance! Check out the 'Milton' and 'Tico' ranges.
