Help! How am i going to fit 3 kids in one room, ive thought of bunkbeds but my oldest is only just 3 will be 3 and a half when baby is here 4 when baby will join them in thier room. Problem is recommendation is for children over 6 for bunkbeds.
Any ideas ive not thought of would be great!

Hi, you haven't given any room dimensions but I would go with either extendable beds, eg
www.ikea.com/gb/en/search/?k=extendable+bed
or a single bed with a trundle bed under it (assuming the youngest will be in a cot or in your room for a while), eg
www.ikea.com/gb/en/products/childrens-ikea-products/children-3-7/childrens-beds/sl%C3%A4kt-bed-frame-with-underbed-and-storage-white-spr-89227731/

Further down the line, when they are all older you can actually get triple bunks if you are still stuck for space.

You could also consider an IKEA Kura bed or a midsleeper for your older 2, with the younger one on a thinnish mattress on the floor underneath. Ideally you'd want the mattress on something for ventilation, maybe look at a futon base. Note that IKEA beds and some more expensive bunks/midsleepers tend to be european sizes which are a bit longer than UK ones.

I think the single bed with trundle could work well.

Alternatively a standard double bed is only 1.5ft wider than a single, so squeezing the adults into a small bedroom might be surprisingly achievable.

We did two kids in the spare too and one in ours in their own bed. My friend had a smaller house growing up and him and his three brothers all bunk bedded in one small room. It can work - it's just cramped, obviously.

What's the possibility of getting the adults in there and the kids in the main bedroom?

Its a posability but would be a huge move around! Redecorate etc but definitely something to consider
