I really love the country cottage look for my living room, Laura Ashley style.
I was watching Saving Mr Banks and in the 1960's, there are many shots of Emma Thompson in her living room and you can see the window dressing: it was net curtains and a roller blind over the top.
I really liked it. I've never seen this before. Is this a 60's thing? Has anyone seen it work? Any ideas?
