Has anyone got a nice outdoor corner sofa/ lounger.
I’m looking for something low maintenance so probably rattan or similar.
Any recommendations would be appreciated.
Thanks

Bump.
I'd like a rattan dining set - pale colour rattan, not brown or grey.
I'm not in the UK so I don't know the names of the companies that sell them.

I got this Outsunny sofa a few weeks ago, it was in the sale, I'm really pleased with it!

Alices's Garden have some really nice ones, reasonable prices.

What I'm looking for is a light beige colour rattan garden dining set for 6 or 8.
I don't like grey or brown. That's all that seems available. I'm not in the UK and the choices are limited in Ireland.

@beanaseireann We've talked a few times on threads, particularly one about how the Derry Girls pronounce the word scone (which actually started as a thread about traybakes if I remember rightly), so I remember you saying you were Dublin direction. Have you tried this company - Rathwood? Their main office/showroom is in Carlow but they sell their products through other shops too, eg in Bray. There are more details on their website about the location of their smaller sites. No idea what your budget is but your colour choice makes the search harder - everything is grey!

Wayfair will deliver to Ireland but the delivery fee for this type of item is £200!

Thank you

@beanaseireann I saw some lovely pale ones in a shop. by a company called Bridgeman. Looked like Lloyd Loom, but synthetic.
Not cheap but lovely quality

beanaseireann · 05/05/2019 10:58

Thank you BreakfastatSqiffanys.
The Bridgman sets look brilliant. I'd love to get to their showroom. They might have Irish stockists.

A trip to Rathwood is on my to do list now. It's a nice afternoon out and the cafe is lovely. Thank you for reminding me.

BreakfastAtSquiffanys · 05/05/2019 12:58

They really are lovely (Bridgeman)
Our local pub has Alexander Rose chairs in Lloyd Loom style on back patio which have been out in all weathers for 3 years and they look perfect. Obs they bring cushions in every evening /when it rains.

Have a look on Jysk- not sure if they deliver to Ireland though.

beanaseireann · 07/05/2019 00:02

Just is in Ireland now. Thank you, Tealfrog

beanaseireann · 07/05/2019 00:02

Jsyk

TheClitterati · 07/05/2019 18:52

JYSK looks fab.

Any idea what the quality is like? There's no store near me so I would need to order online.

beanaseireann · 07/05/2019 19:36

I was so disappointed - I drove down to Naas specially.
I won't bother to visit again.
Others may love it.

TheClitterati · 08/05/2019 18:24

I've ordered some of these chairs. I've tried them Instore and they are comfy & solid.

I just need to find a table now.

Bluntness100 · 08/05/2019 18:31

I have this and it's great, really good quality and you can configure it as you please.

Sorry, I'm confused is beanaseireann and the op the same person?

Tfoot75 · 08/05/2019 18:37

We have outdoor furniture from jysk, I think it is coming up to 3 years old. We don't cover it in winter and it's still in perfect condition (well apart from the melted wax crayon stain from last summer!) very pleased with it. Also bought a 2 seater bench with table last year.

Tealfrog · 08/05/2019 21:09

Ditto Jysk - they are big in mainland Europe. My experience of quality has been good - is super sturdy and wearing well.

beanaseireann · 08/05/2019 23:32

No I'm not the OP.
