Recommendations for lovely towels wanted please!

Our bathroom is nearly finished finally so was hoping to buy some really lovely, luxurious fluffy towels. Never bought fancy towels before so please could I ask if anyone has a shop they would recommend? Thanks!

Dunelm stock Dorma which are nice. My favourite though are the ones from The White Company. Pricey but always available in their outlet stores for a bit less.

Christy and Sheridan - I have had some for years. Both brands wash really well and are lovely and soft. I have some white ones which must be about 15 years old from Christy and they are still excellent.

I bought mine from Bicester about 5 years ago and they are still perfectly white, soft and fluffy

Which are the best white company ones?

I have a couple of Christie ones which are nice but have quite a few pulled threads which is annoying-not sure what we do to them!

I got some really luxurious fluffy soft towels from sainsburies. Really good quality

I don't know what I or my washing machine do to towels but they end up like sandpaper

Christy towels every time. Thick, fluffy and beautiful, plus they last forever.

The white company towels can sometimes have a self coloured stripe at each end which makes them shrink in the wash/dryer.

I'm the same Bean, not sure if spending more will cure the problem

Christy or the white company. Off topic but never use fabric softener with towels. Makes them less absorbing and they also take ages to dry after washing which then leads to them needing longer in the dryer and becoming misshapen
