Fighting grey - is dark bronze an option or naff?

Painting a small utility - bright white cupboards so want a dark colour on walls to contrast - similar depth to F&B Downpipe. But sick to death of grey. So what do we think of a dark bronze - maybe with an olive tone? I've seen one by Valspar called Autumn Bark which is along the lines I'm thinking. Is it naff? I've attached a swatch.

Yes this works. As long as there's enough excitement (zing, zhuzh) to it once it's on the wall. I think there will be. But if not, it could tend towards post office paper.

Yeah I know what you mean - think it might have to be a satin rather than matte finish so it doesn't look flat. Good to know it's not awful though!!.
