To have vinyl floor?

I'm off work next week and thought I'd have a go at making the bathroom a bit nicer. I think it's vinyl down at the moment but I'm not really sure if I'm honest.

I thought I'd buy a new vinyl and stick it over
But hoping around I've seen lots of people saying it's toxic.

So firstly - is it really that bad? Like more than literally every other chemical, dyed fabric, cleaning product etc etc in my house?

And secondly - has anyone done it themselves? How easy is it? - im just thinking about cutting around toilets and sinks!

I don't know about toxicity, but it's not too hard to fit if you have reasonable DIY skills. Be careful of tearing it when cutting, and take your time so as not to cut too much away (it's far less forgiving than carpet!). If you cut too much the gaps can be very noticeable, although a bead of silicone around all the edges once you've done will hide any small gaps.

OP look at self adhesive vinyl planks at B&Q. Dead easy to fit, very little waste, and no chemicals.
