Bedroom carpets - grey or not?

Need to redo the bedrooms, and am hopeless at decoration/style of any sort.

Will do the same carpet throughout, upstairs. They were a nice warm, but not too dark blue, which the shop no longer make in our price range now. I know that I want a plain colour. It will either be biscuity-beige or grey. I prefer the grey but I think that that is because it's nearer the blue.

Nearly decided on the beige which would be a bit warmer/lighter. Then noticed that the shop had grey down and that looked nice!

Grey, as you say closer to the old blue so will more likely go with what stuff you have.

Grey. It'll go well with modern neutrals and what you already have.

Grey definitely. Looks modern and 'fresh' and matches most decor.

We’ve got a silver-grey in our bedroom and it’s lovely. Doesn’t show dirt, vacs well and stain resistant.

I've got beige and it shows dust terribly. If I had grey it wouldn't be as bad! even though I hoover it, it still shows!
Seriously considering changing it to grey, my bf parents have a grey carpet and it looks lovely.

Agree with pp, we had beige for ten years, and it shows up dust terribly!, plus it did get grubby, despite being a no shoes upstairs household. We have now switched to grey which shows up the black sock fluff instead

We've just gone from beige to grey carpets and I love it. We have kept the decor to grey carpets and white walls as I find all things interior very complicated.

Grey is great for not showing stains too!

Beige. I think grey has all got a bit too much really, it's everywhere. Beige goes with Any colour and will make the room look lighter and brighter.

Go with the biscuit.
