Hi guys first time posting here, I know you’re all super helpful so I wondered if you can advise on which worktops are better? I currently have black granite worktops which are an absolute nightmare to keep clean! Currently shows every finger print, dust, and generally always looks grubby even after washing and buffing several times a day, we are getting a new house and are fitting a brand new pale grey Matt kitchen but I’m stumped on worktops! I love the quartz in a marble effect ( white & grey ) but.... will I be in the same position again with polishing the damn thing all the time?? I’m at a bit of a loss with finding good solid answers on the internet!... thanks in advance Smile

In my re-fit last year I used Apollo Slab Tech. It's matt, so no need for polishing. Any scratches just buff out with a cloth. It's really inexpensive compared to stone or quartz as well.

I bought mine from Benchmarx, but can be bought far cheaper if you shop/google around a bit. Is less costly than quartz or marble and yes, definitely available in the UK.
