How much will a professional decorator cost?

New kitchen/diner is currently being plastered.

I was going to paint it myself but it's quite a large space.

Any idea how much a painter would cost?

I expect it depends where you live and the quality of finish that you want! We had our bedroom 6m x 3m done to a high standard but it was £1800! Included lining one wall after filling to ensure a perfect finish, rubbing down everywhere, priming, varnishing all hardwood doors etc, etc and ceiling. The decorator was here a week and work was excellent.

About £100-150 per day here.

Well I don't think it will be a difficult job as its all freshly plastered and smooth.
