Kitchen advice needed

Hi,

We are about to do a kitchen refurb and in need of some advice

I really want navy blue cabinets with white worktops (prob Corian) and a parquet floor. My worry is the navy will date and I'll want to replace them in a few years. Am I better off playing it safer with grey units instead?

I personally think grey will date quicker than blue, in fact I think it's already dating. A couple of friends now regret their grey kitchens after only a year -18months!

Thank you for your reply

I think you could be right and grey will date. Ideally I want a neutral colour for the cabinets but apart from a light grey I haven't really seen anything I like.

Maybe a Matt cashmere colour instead

The beauty of a hand painted kitchen is that you can change the colour as fashion changes.....
