Sofa for loft room - small or self assembly

I’m buying a house which has really narrow stairs going down to the living room and two flights of stairs going up to a loft room, both of which need a sofa or sofa bed.

I like the Loaf style but there’s no way anything chunky like that would make it without getting wedged in the stairwell 😭 I’ve been looking at Made.com and Dunelm for stuff that looks like it might be slim enough or come in pieces but would love any recommendations of nice - Scandi or traditional Loaf style - sofas that you’ve managed to get up to a loft room or down skinny stairs.

Failing that I guess we’ll sit on beanbags.

We got this one from made.com specifically because we needed it to be as small as possible. We are really happy with it. It’s pretty comfortable and you can still sit two people on it. And actually it looks quite nice in the space when accessorised! But it may not be quite glamorous enough if you’re wanting something along the loaf lines OP! (And I don’t blame you - it’s what I wanted too but everything was too big). We use this just as a second kitchen sofa as opposed to our main sitting type sofa.

I got mine from Nabru. They come in kit form so you can create your own.

I got a sofa bed which is fine for occasional use.

We got "chairs in a box" from Argos as we had the same problem. They do sofas in a box, too.
