Are mix and match suites a thing?

Got the idea of my SIL who has two different fabric suites in her sitting room.
So the time came to finally go get a new sitting room suite for myself so I've ordered a three and two piece grey leather matching suite and am now looking for a grey fabric armchair for the room.
Will this look ok, don't want it to look odd or out of place!!

Yes of course it will look ok! But I would go for something a bit different with the armchair rather than just matching the grey - maybe a patterned or striped fabric chair with some grey in rather than a block colour. Could you post a pic of the sofas? And what other colours will you have in the room - curtains, walls, carpet etc...?

Wooden blinds no curtains, wood floor, cream walls, black lamps, black fireplace, sparkly grey rug.

Yes but you need pattern. Is the leather actually leather or plastic?

We have a large couch in a fabric that's kind of tweedy in a flecked denim colour. We also have a love seat and an armchair in a floral fabric but which tones with the couch,so all three are different shapes but coordinating colours. I really like it.

Ok - should have asked what style you're going for.. but a few ideas here:

First would go with modern or traditional with a bit of pattern but still quite muted if you want to be subtle - link

I've got a red velvet sofa, an oatmeal sofa and an oatmeal/red/burgundy striped seat and foot stool in my sitting room. It looks great.

Love that room Apollo! I have similar in different colours - a blue sofa, a cream one and a patterned chair in both with some other colours thrown in!

Yes it's real leather no plastic at the price I paid!!
Badtaste .. modern is more my style, thanks for links I love the check pattern of the dunelm chair but the style/shape of the very chair. Looking for a dark grey pattern rather than light as my dd can be a nightmare with spilling drinks!
