White Wooden Blinds

Does anyone else have white wooden blinds in their bedroom?

I really like the clean lines of blinds and have my heart set on white wooden venetians in my bedroom but, I'm worried about how much light they will let through when they are closed. Will I be up with the larks all summer?

I've got cream wooden blinds in the bedroom, they look great but yes I'm afraid they don't block out light very well.

We inherited them and before that I was used to a room with dark coloured blackout curtains.

Can you get the blinds but sleep in an eye mask?!
