Blind help needed

Help! We are moving house and I am making the bold move to have blinds at every window instead of curtains. Yikes! Anyway, I am completely stuck about the kitchen one.

Should I have a roller blind or a roman blind? (we are having rollers in all the bedrooms and romans in lounge and dining room)

Also - should it be a recess one, or one on the outside of the window??

Looking for your expert advice...…..

How big is the window. I got perfect fit on my diner end of the kitchen and love them. For over the sink a roller as the cord is easier to reach than perfect fit would be.

All ours are recessed. I think outside the recess looks weird.

I think I am going with recessed and a roller. I don't trust my DH's measuring so I shall go next week armed with a tape measure and do it myself!

I would have a roller recessed at a kitchen window. Have a look at Blinds2Go we got our kitchen one from them and a Roman blind for the spare room. Excellent service and there’s a very self explanatory measuring guide.

Nearlyadoctor, yes that's where I am getting them from. Just need to measure one more and then I am ready to order. Thanks everyone for your help!
