Thought maybe a lantern but it's a bit boring any other ideas?

Not keeping the walls green going to paint them white.

Any ideas?

Which room is it in? Would a wine rack be appropriate?

Are you a book lover? A tiny library? I totally would!

Storage for a nest of tables?

Or, if you want decoration rather than function... what about a globe? You can get black ones with the details and text in gold and all sorts of colour schemes to go with your room!

If it doesn't need to useful (drawers/shelves) then how about a long thin picture? Or a large plant? Maybe a cacti / palm?

I didn't open your picture, didn't realise it was a fireplace! Ignore last post, what about filling it with nice logs stacked up? Or you could put a few framed prints in there leaning off the floor? Maybe one large one and 2 small?

Put a dog in there.

An iron grate full of logs with fairy lights entertwined in logs.

You could also put large candles in lanterns on the front tiles. Look lovely and cosy at night.

A big glass vase or bowl with fairy lights coiled in it. Or a ceramic sculpture.
