Matchy matchy curtains?

Ignore the crappy window decorations, but what would you put on this window? Would you go matchy matchy with the big curtains or something different?

Personally, I would have the same in one room. I'm happy to have contrasting curtains to the general colour scheme, but I don't think my sense of aesthetics could handle two differing patterned curtains.

Matching would be a bit dark. Maybe a lighter coordinating blind

What about wooden blinds?

I’m not a big fan of things matching perfectly but feel these are too close to each other to be the complete opposite

A Roman blind in a lighter shade of the curtain colour?

I’d do a Roman blind in a tartan or stripe to coordinate with the big curtains. Some texture and non brown would look nice.

I'd do a blind and either pick out that colour or go for wooden blind (but I don't really love these).
