Vinyl flooring advice

Hi, I am about to move to a new house in the next 2 months and so would appreciate a bit of advice as I look at flooring etc,

I need to do it all online as I am housebound and often bedbound.

I have found cushioned vinyl I like which can go thru the whole house, its slip resistant and has a good wear resistance.

Cleaning wise - Im thinking a darker colour will show up the fluff and life detritus faster, is this correct? So going for a lighter one?

I am trying to go for easy to clean and that won't show dirt easy? Any advice? Was thinking a stone/plank type pattern

However, I am a wheelchair user and will this mark the light coloured one badly? (Cant use the chair inside this house as inaccessible so don't know)

I have a friend who has offered to help and go get samples etc but she will pick what she likes and basically push to get what she thinks I should have rather than what I want.

She doesnt live here and I do, so what I want I feel trumps hers, plus I am paying for it so I want to get the best for me and what I like.

I know its a lot of wants, but I dont think IABU or am I?

You’re definitely not being UR to choose what you like! You can often order free samples online. Is that an option?

You could also call a local company for advice on what won’t mark from the wheelchair etc.

Good thinking, I will start on samples and go from there. I hadnt actually thought about getting actual samples TY
