What colour for alcove wardrobe?

We've had new alcove wardrobes put in - what shade of white would you recommend? I don't want something that is totally cream, but Pure Brilliant white would be too stark...

Depends on the wall colour – different whites will read differently depending on that. Personally I would match the wardrobes to the wall colour so it all blends in and makes the room look bigger/less choppy.
