Navy blue for living room-advice?

I quite fancy going for a dark blue colour in my new living room. It is sunny and south facing so I think it can take a strong colour without feeling gloomy. It currently has a cream carpet and a grey sofa so needs livening up. I was thinking of yellow ochre as an accent colour for cushions and a rug maybe.
Any suggestions of dark blue paint colours? Or other colour ideas?

My bedroom isn’t navy but is a strong blue. Carpet is cream too and I love it!

Other pic is my living room- colour under the dado is pretty much navy and I’d probably be reluctant to paint the whole room that colour despite it being massive and airy.

My lounge is navy with blush accents. I love it. The bay window wall is white but with navy curtains. It's cosy and lovely.

We have a small navy blue (Benjamin Moore Hale Navy) living room with white bookshelves on 2 walls and a lot of white wood trim. We have a navy sofa, navy and white patterned sofa and an orange accent chair. It is my favourite room. I think orange works well with navy.

Thanks guys! Great pics. Navy and blush pink could be even better I think.

Which navy have you used, please, glossier? Looks amazing!

Our bedroom is navy and soft gold, south facing and full sun and it’s lovely, elegant by day and wraps around us at night with lamps on. Would work beautifully in a sitting room.

@bsc Thank you! It's F&B's Hague Blue. To be honest the quality is pretty shocking - a nightmare to work with and marks unbelievably easily. But the depth of pigment and chalky matt finish make it just about worth the trade off!

Thank you glossier- it does look as though it would be worth the hard work!

We just finished painting our living room last week as I was in the same situation! All the walls in my living room were white and it looked quite cold. Very cosy feeling now!
We used Dulux Azure Fusion 1. Be warned, the paint looks like a bluey green in the pot and when first painted but dries dark! I got so worried when we first bought the paint and saw the green tinge!!
