Duck Egg Blue Kitchen

Hello. Does anyone have a duck egg blue kitchen? We are about to order one and our unsolved dilemma is what laminate worktop to have - we have chosen the Karndean French oak floor (but not ordered yet). I think the worktop that goes best with the duck egg blue is a laminate oak but not sure if that will be too much 'wood' in the kitchen (4.5 x 3.5 metres) which will be open plan with dining/living area Any suggestions/advice gratefully received! Thanks.

We had a white worktop (quartz) with our light blue kitchen and an oak coloured floor. We liked it! Might it be hard to match the two woods?

Matching the two woods will be your problem. You could still have wood for both but I'd say don't try to match them. The grain of the wood is enough if a match iyswim. I've got wood effect tiles with wood (laminate) worktops in two different shades. Plus it can look like too much wood if it's the same colour and it must be almost impossible to get exact matching anyway. I bet the duck egg will look lovely though op.

I'll try and send a pic of mine

Thanks v much for posting your photo - this is uncanny - the layout is almost identical to what we will be having! The white looks good with the oak floor so will do look again at possibilities. Thanks again.
