Willow and Hall. How good are their Sofas ?

Looking everywhere for Sofas for my new (currently very empty) house.

Has anyone bought from Willow and Hall? I would love to hear of experiences, good and bad before I take the risk of buying something without seeing it in a showroom.

We have one but I wouldn’t recommend them personally. If you want details, feel free to message me.

Thank you Kescilly

I have also now had some very negative feedback about a friends buying experience at Williw and Hall and have decided to look elsewhere.

Thirteen years (since I last bought Sofas) has made a massive difference to the Sofa buying experience. Trying to buy without seeing & sitting and choosing from a tiny square of fabric is totally paralysing my decision making.

@Flyingsouthwiththeswallows I agonized over it and obviously still got it wrong. But we needed a very specific sleeper sofa so that limited us.

I think the company I heard the most consistently good reviews for was Sofa.com. Maybe look into them?

I’d stay away from Made.com, though they look tempting.

Just bought from Sofa.com and am really regretting it - don't go for their cotton velvet! We got the scotchguard guy round to protect it and he went into an extensive rant about the poor quality of the fabric and how it's dry clean only so any spillage of water will damage the pile etc etc. THe pile started showing marks that won't go after days of very light use and it's totally changed the way we use the sodding sofa.
SOfa itself is nice, just check their fabric is water resistant at least and don't get their velvet however nice it feels.

@LondonBelongsToMe how disappointing! I guess they're all bad in their own ways then. Sofas are meant to be used, that must be so frustrating for you.
