We've had a wooden table protected by an oilcloth for years, prior to that we had and loved granite but feel it would be too dark and heavy as we want an eight-seater.
I saw a beautiful zinc topped table yesterday but I wonder how it would feel and wear?
Does anyone have one and can share their experience please. It's used twice a day everyday by a family of four although the kids are now teens so less damage occurs
