We’re looking to have our bathroom re-done in the next few weeks and I’d love a freestanding bath.
We’re going for a traditional look rather than modern and a lot of the baths that have caught my eye have been roll-top or double ended, some with a claw foot, some without.
There is so much to choose from. Any recommendations or advice please?

I like this style. The very rectangular shaped ones never look terribly comfortable and the attraction of a bath is to be able to lie back and relax.

Think carefully about where you position it in terms of access to plumbing/pipes if anything goes wrong and also how you can clean around/behind it. A friend has hers angled in a corner and has to climb into the bath to clean down the back of it. Hers is completely glued to the floor so it's not a simple case of re-positioning it. One with feet may be an advantage, eg

I had a roll top with claw and ball feet in my last house. I loved it.
It was one with a squared off end that went against a wall.
I would thoroughly recommend it.

Thank you both.
There’s so much to choose from I just feel a bit lost with it all.....

We bought a Burlington slipper bath for our new bathroom and we love it. It's called the Harwood Bath I think. Combined it with a mixer tap with shower rose 👌
