What shall I do with this room?

Any ideas? Considering painting the wardrobes - the bed and tables and lamps are sold so it's a blank canvas. Not sure what to do!! Had a bold dark colour in mind for the wardrobes...maybe the wall behind the bed too? Maybe picking out the green in the curtains??

I would paint the wardrobes a different colour but a lighter shade and do the doors and trims in this shade too and use a dark green on the wall behind the bed..with a yellow undertone.I would go for metallic bedside tables to create the illusion of light. What other furniture is in the room? Are you keeping the curtains and bedding? There is a gorgeous wallpaper that has a green base but recreates the mural of a birdhouse something like that would look amazing.

We just have an oak dressing table. I've ordered some oak nightstands from Simba in a retro style. Ahhh so you think the wall behind the bed rather than the wardrobes dark. Or I could do both?

I've been looking at Inchrya blue F&B. It looks quite green

I'd pick a wallpaper you like for the doors of the wardrobe, and paint the surround and walls in a green shade picked out of th curtain fabric. You could go with more modern brass side tables for the bed, Zara home have loads of reasonably priced stuff like that. The curtains have pink in them too and I think a darkish green and pink combo is gorgeous in a bedroom.

Deffo paint the wardrobes and look for a new central light fitting too

I would choose a darker colour for the wardrobe or wall only. Have you had a look at the new shades farrow and ball have released late last year? The new collection has great blue/ green shades. Inchyra blue is a very popular shade it’s lovely. Even if you choose a darker wardrobe colour I would still make a feature of the wall behind the bed in some way. Ie. Framed wallpaper hung on a neutral coloured wall. As it’s a bedroom that area should be the focal point.

I love your curtains!

How about a warm grey with green undertones for the walls, with dark green for furnishings/the wardrobes and accents of gold/bronze?

I love all of your suggestions thanks. I've decided on painting the wall behind the bed in either Inchrya Blue by F&B or a little greene called livid. The rest will be neutral, maybe timeless. Choosing a bed now and it's between oak and black, new bedside cabinets are in. Very excited! Thanks again.
