Bedroom storage with extreme sloping ceilings

The cottage we're moving into in 1 week has 2 of the bedrooms in the eaves with dormer windows. In the master bedroom the slope goes down to the floor, there is no "knee" to the wall at all. There's the chimney breast at one end where the bed will go I suppose and a door at the other

We've had to sell all our bedroom furniture as it won't fit! We have literally nowhere to put our clothes. What should we look into in this situation? Fold everything and have a bank of chests of drawers? Save for fitted furniture (though i worry about damp and mould)?

Any tips from other old cottage dwellers appreciated!

Watching with interest. We're doing a loft conversion and will need storage in a funny angled corner.

I was thinking of the insides of the Ikea pax wardrobes to store everything and then making wooden doors to fit.

I saw an advert for sharps bedrooms the other day who do made to measure storage. It's not really to my taste, but it might solve a problem. (We won't be using them...budget doesn't stretch!)

The whole of our back wall is a walk in wardrobe. Can you do that?

We had a fairly deep slope in our old house and got a carpenter to make built in cupboards how we wanted them.

We got a carpenter to build us cupboards.

DH built fitted cupboards to ours.

I fold most things like jeans, t-shirts, jumpers, which I have in a chest of three drawers. I hang other things like coats on a valet stand.

The cottage is 18th century so I don't think Ikea etc would be quite right. I didn't say but there is actually a door at both ends (the other one goes into dd2's room which also has it's own staircase down). There is a tiny Narnia like cupboard with hanging rails between the two rooms! But I'd rather not use this as I assume there will be small person traffic into our room for some years yet.

Really good solid underbed drawers on castors can hold an awful lot.

Could you close off the door into the cupboard from DD's end so it's just a cupboard? Or is that the only route in from her room?
