Dulux Egyptian cotton

Has anyone got this?

After a weekend of painting over my yellow looking Dulux Timeless walls, I've discovered that proper grey is not for me. Tried Goose Down and didn't personally like it, it was too grey.

Ended up using Pebble Shore, I think I like it, it's warmer but not beige/brown looking.

I'm moving onto the hallway next but want a slightly different colour, and now considering Dulux Egyptian Cotton. Even though it's in the brown colour section, is it more of a griege?

I'd like something a bit darker so as not to show up every single fingerprint.

I have Egyptian cotton in my hall stairs and landing. It’s perhaps more beige than greige even

My parents have Egyptian Cotton. I'd say it was more beige than greige.

Egyptian Cotton is very light/pale with no grey. You could embrace beige and use Dulux Trench Coat.

I have it. It’s a cream with a grey tint instead of a pink tint or a yellow tint. But comes across as beige not grey. But not beige - cream. It’s really good.

We've got it in a small sitting room. Brilliant. Never looks the same shade two days in a row, as the light varies.

We’ve got it and it is greyer on than we were expecting but it is v subtle and we love it. We tried A LOT of samples!

This painting malarkey is more difficult than it should be.

I've had years of magnolia so wanted to get away from cream paints, but not keen on grey either.

I'll have to get a tester.

It’s not cream. We used it to replace magnolia and it has a definite colour

Perfectly Taupe is a slightly darker greige, if you're looking for more of a colour. It can look quite grey though, in some lights.

Love Perfectly Taupe, I see it as a grey. Egyptian Cotton definitely no cream and not grey. Very light, no warmth. In my hallway. Nice. Not much contrast against white.

We’ve got Egyptian cotton in our hall, stairs and landing. It actually looks more greige than beige in our light. I really like it.
