Kitchen tile decision...HELP!

Having a new kitchen fitted in a newly built extension soon and I can't decide what type of metro tiles to go for?

The kitchen is a Matt handleless one with oak worktops and then a white quartz worktop on the island.

I really want to go for metro tiles but do you think normal gloss metro tiles or do I for the math versions to match the kitchen. I don't know how Matt tiles will clean up iyswim?

And I'm thinking a darker grey grout too.

Anyone got either tiles and can recommend?

Thank you so much I'm just over obsessing the small silly things I know.

Have you considered glass splashback? Love outs no grout to get grotty

I had glass in my old kitchen and although I loved it I really want to go for something different.

The matt tiles are not usually recommended for kitchens - they are a nightmare to clean compared to the gloss version. Gloss tiles tend to be easier to clean because any spillages simply sit on the surface and can be easily wiped off. This link by a tile company gives pros and cons:

That's so helpful thank you! I thought Matt tiles would be much harder to keep clean. I just don't Confused

I think I'll probably stay safe and go for the gloss ones

You could try something like the product below if you have your heart set on the matt tiles. I've never used it but the reviews seem good.
