Decorating

Hi we are just decorating our lounge can any one help I plan to paint the feature wall in dark brown we have a gray carpet and brown furniture I am stuck on a colour for the remaining walls if anybody can help I would be truly appreciated regards Helen

I'm not sure a dark brown wall would work with a grey carpet. Why don't you go for something like a teal or other dark blue, to blend the brown and grey together?

No not brown. It will look awful (sorry!!!). Take a look at a dark blue - "sapphire salute" from dulux would look lovely with grey and brown furnishings.

Farrow & ball do a nice dark brown called Tanner's Brown which looks nice with a warm white

Sorry but I can't imagine a dark brown wall looking nice. Maybe petrol or peacock blue? It would look nice with the brown furniture and grey.
