So we need to carpet our bedroom. Has gorgeous floorboards which we painted white, looks lovely but feels cold underfoot (even with rugs) and is bouncing noise from traffic around the room - it's quite big. I want to cosy it up a bit and I suspect carpet is the way to go.
I've no idea where to begin. The hall:stairs have a statement colour carpet which I don't want to repeat in bedroom, so it needs to be neutral. Don't like grey especially.
Ideally I'd love the Seagrass look but not the feel. Also heard it stains just from water!
So.... what choices?? The decor is white, modern/scandi with vintage touches. A bit eclectic if you like, but pretty basic colour palette of white/mahogany dresser/pale grey drawers/blush chair at dressing table.
I basically want the feel of carpet but to not notice it! Thoughts?!?!
