Living room decor

I am moving in a couple of weeks and this will be my new living room. It's a rental so don't think I'll be able to change floor or walls or fireplace just wondering how you would furnish this room? And what decor? Rugs, curtains etc. Thank you.

I'd go for light and dark greens.

@Italiangreyhound Thanks! I hate the fireplace but it's only one thing I don't like. I don't usually like green but that rug is GORGEOUS! Good price too! And I'm now looking at browns and greens thank you so much I'm absolutely crap at things like this!

What colour do you like? Reds?

Oh that's a bargain!! I don't know what I'm like I just go in to peoples living rooms sometimes and they are really well deprecated but I'm so limited because I can't put wallpaper or anything up. That's tempting at that price though! I'll have a look at Wayfair now.
