Hi
I split up with my boyfriend this year and want to revamp the house with some new furniture and accessories. I'd like new towels, crockery set etc.

I really like Oliver Bonas and White Mint and am after other website recommendations for cool, quirky pieces that aren't too expensive.

I like TK Max too, but as we all know - it's very hit and miss!

Where do you shop for home stuff?

Thanks

You mentioned TKMaxx, but have you tried Homesense? It’s a home goods version of TKMaxx. Which means it’s also hit or miss, but quite fun to browse and can also be very reasonable.

Thank you - I will take a look at that x

Have a look at made.com for furniture too.

H&M home and Zara home have some nice bits and bobs too (less furniture though).

Avoid made.com
They are stylish pieces, but delivery and returns are a disaster.

Ordered a table around xmas, the delivery company forced a date on me that I couldn't make it, and wouldn't let me change it till after the failed delivery! Then gave me a date two weeks later... so now waiting for it to come in on the 17th.

No Saturday deliveries, no AM/PM choice or time slots.

Returns are a disaster too. Can't return to store, or drop off at a parcelshop. Has to be collected. Stayed in all day, DPD driver didn't come, didn't even text or call that they couldn't make it.

Don't waste time with Made.com unless you have loads of time on your hands...

Only had good experiences with Made, personally.

I have found Made fine. Also Zara and H&M Home are good for bits and pieces.
