Do these curtains go with this duvet cover?

We've just had our spare bedroom decorated. The bed is in front of the window so I want to coordinate the duvet and curtains. This is the duvet cover I've got my eye on. Our wall colour is similar to the wall colour in the picture. But does it go with these curtains, which would add some colour to the room?

I can’t work out whether the duvet cover is grey or beige based. If it’s grey, then yes I think it would go as they’re both cool colours. Beige might clash a bit to me, but that’s just my opinion!

Why don't you go for just plain white bedding? Willbe much fresher looking.

Hmm, personally I think the curtains are a bit too duck-egg in colour to go with that duvet cover.

I like the duvet cover and the curtains, but not together. I really like the duvet cover but think you need a contrasting colour for the curtains, I think the duck egg curtains are too plain and bland looking.

They've put a vibrant yellow throw in the duvet pic which contrasts beautifully and lifts the room.

They don't clash, but I wouldn't say they go together. I would choose a stronger colour curtain like teal to contrast or something to pick out the mustard-goldy piping.

No I don't think they do go. The bedding is pale grey with gold/mustard piping on some of the pillow cases. The curtains are more blue.

Are your walls grey or blue? With that duvet cover I would want grey and then use the gold/mustard as an accent colour. If your walls are more blue, I don't think think the duvet cover will work. The curtains would work but you'd need to find a different duvet cover that had some blue in it, plus an accent colour.
