Morning! We live in a fairly modern (built in 1990) house. However, our house was built adjacent to the oldest house in our village (c.1700) and our garden wall is a beautiful listed stone wall, from that house.
As you can see the garden all the way through the house, it does add a bit of character. I think we can get away with traditional flagstones in the hall, but could equally go modern.
My decision is between grey traditional flagstones in the hall and utility, or 600x600 concrete effect porcelain tiles that look very modern. I love both. Help!
The 3rd option is a geometric monochrome floor tile in the hall, and either the flags or porcelain tiles in the utility.
