Bright kitchen cupboard paint

I have inherited a horrible ancient white kitchen. All the cupboards are white and the walls tiled white from top to bottom with no funds to rip it all out. I have been looking at cupboard paint but find the colours on offer very limited, pale blue, pale green, cream and white basically. Despite searching I have not found any companies that sell bolder colours and was wondering if anyone on here has any suggestions?

Hi you can use eggshell paint on cupboards, which really opens up the colour choices, the I have used is Mylands or Little Greene long lasting & really easy to work with.

Thank you, will look in to that.

Sorry OP, forgot to say especially if the cupboards are not wooden, a really good undercoat/primer makes a huge difference, zinsser bullseye 123 is really good & drys quickly.

Thanks again, I have been looking at egg shell, but they seem rather limited in colour range too, but will search more.

I painted mine in Dulux Bras D'Or. I used normal woodwork paint and used a primer called ESP.

Try Annie Sloane range of chalk paint. No surface prep required!

Earthborn paints are zero VOC, have lush colours, and have good feedback on mumsnet.
Our local posh kitchen makers used little greene.
I am also looking for some colour in my kitchen! Instagram is great if you search with hashtag farrowandball or littlegreene you get everyone's ideas x
