Wall mounted taps in bathroom

I want them but I am worried about access to pipes behind tiles, should anything go wrong. Can anyone offer any advice please?

Ideally, mount them on a stud wall where you could access through the other side of the wall if necessary. Depends on your layout though.

Decent brands will hopefully not go wrong for many years. Grohe, Hansgrohe, Dornbracht are top end price and quality. Crosswater are not bad. Bristan are always recommended by PigletJohn so must be good Smile

If you get the ones which are stuck on a big rectangular back plate that makes access a lot easier.

Thank you!!! My husband has put me off because he says the kids won’t be able to reach them...as long as I can get a tall basin tap behind the sink, I’m happy with that (depth of vanity is a limiting factor)
