Cotswold Company - good quality?

We're considering the Cotswold Company Chambery Grey bedside tables. Does anyone have these? What is the quality like of their painted wood? We got a sample and it seems to be painted mdf which seems to me expensive for that material.

I’ve looked on their website before but never bought for the same reason. Would be interested to hear what people have to say

they look a bit cheap to me! MDF definitely not worth that price

I've had a lovely small bookcase but nothing painted.

I have some of their oak furniture and it's really lovely, excellent quality

I've got their Oak sideboard and bookcase. Sideboard looks great and feels great quality, bookcase looks great but quality doesn't quite match the sideboard.

I've not tried any of their painted items, although they look beautiful in the pictures, I have a feeling they may not feel robust.

Not painted but I got an oak bedside table and was impressed.

I saw some of their painted furniture and it looked very shiny and plasticy

We've got a white wardrobe and chest of drawers. Great quality, we'd happily buy again.

I am currently waiting for a painted cupboard to be delivered...

We bought some painted bedroom furniture from The Furniture Market - similar designs to Cotswold but much lower priced IIRC. We're delighted with them. Delivery and customer service absolutely excellent.

I got a grey painted set of bedside tables from there recently - Portland - I'm pretty happy with them. They're not perfect - there was a small paint chip and one of the draws sits bit to one side in the runners, but they look good and feel nice and solid. Compared to some other stores their prices were fairly reasonable, and delivery was straightforward
