Secure picture frames on wall?

I would appreciate any advice! We have a corridor that leads to a bedroom on one side, a small room on the other and also, on the third wall, some stairs. The one remaining wall would look great with some frames (probably small prints/drawings) but because there is a bit of traffic there, people tend to brush against it. At the moment it has been painted white but I foresee marks from school bags etc.

I'd like to hang some thin frames all over the wall, top to bottom, like a gallery wall, but worry that the pictures might get knocked by me a child.

Do you know a good way to secure the frames that also won't cost an arm and a leg or require a pro? We have a good drill that we fear and have never used.

Command hanging strips are good. One on each side will make it pretty sturdy. Also no need for the drill and easy to move around if you need to, no marks or holes in the wall.

Thank you very much EspressoButler and Bobbiepin!

I must say, these hanging strips are the stuff of dreams - we can go on ignoring the mighty drill and do it without destroying the wall... Sad back story: we once tried to drill some holes for a few frames, and in the end the wall looked like Swiss cheese Grin Sad

They are the dog's danglies. Not great for the heavy stuff but perfect for picture frames.

Haha the dog's danglies is so spot on for this Grin
