We used to have a separate dining room and lounge but we have recently knocked through and will be putting in glass bi-fold doors. Will probably keep them closed most of the time but with the glass, the two rooms will look as one. And we'll open the doors when we have family round so we can extend the table.
There isn't an awful lot of wall space. In the past we've got for light coloured safe neutrals but I want to be a bit bolder now with colour.
In the dining room, the curtains are brown/orange/green stripe and the chairs are upholstered in the same green.
In the lounge, the curtains are a brown print and we have a cream leather sofa. At some point I want to add another small sofa in a colour yet to be decided (I like bright pink but not sure it would work).
Does anyone have any ideas for the walls and new sofa that would tie in with what we have already? Thank you.
